What We Offer

EYE CARE SERVICES FOR YOU

Our eye care center in Old Bridge offers a full range of eye health services to clients of all ages, from children to older adults: routine eye exams and vision tests, eye disease diagnosis and management.

Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation

Neuro-optometric rehabilitation is a personalized, science-based regimen of eye exercises and activities based on your brain’s ability to adapt and change — called neuroplasticity. It works by rewiring and improving the connection between your eyes and brain.

Depending on your specific symptoms and needs, our neuro-optometrist will develop a customized neuro-optometric program of at-home and in-office exercises that will help alleviate your concussion-related visual symptoms.

Orthokeratology For Adults The Safer Alternative To LASIK

Ortho-K lenses are a safer alternative to LASIK surgery. These lenses correct vision overnight, offering clear daytime vision without any need to wear glasses or contacts.

Dry Eye

Even without knowing the term "dry eye" or "Dry Eye Syndrome", if you suffer from it, then you are all too familiar with the soreness, discomfort, and even the constant misery that can come with dry eyes.

Vuity

Presbyopia, age-related farsightedness, is a common vision condition corrected with reading glasses, bifocals or progressive lenses. A new FDA- approved medicated eye drop, Vuity, can eliminate the need for eyewear by treating presbyopia.

Adult & Pediatric Eye Exams

Find out how often an adult should have an eye exam, when a child should have their first eye exam, how often a school-aged child should have an eye exam, about eye examinations in school and at the pediatrician's office. There's so much more to healthy vision than 20/20!

Advanced Technology

We use the most up-to-date technology to ensure the best eye care possible. Learn about the different types of tests and equipment you may experience on a visit to our Practice.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Clients Say About Us

I first scheduled an appointment in 2023 after experiencing vertigo. I also had elevated high pressure and was thoroughly examined and prescribed eyedrops to lower the pressure. The first doctor I saw recommended a procedure for the vertigo that would be costly out of pocket but scheduled me with Dr Roth for a final evaluation. Dr Roth was a breath of fresh air. He did additional testing and explained everything as he did it and encouraged me to ask lots of questions and made sure I understood everything clearly. He recommended that I waited on the treatment and give it a little more time to see if the vertigo would self correct. Sure enough, after a week or two no more vertigo and it has been over a year. He could have easily ordered the procedure and taken my money. Today, I scheduled appointments for my son and I to continue evaluating the eye pressure and general eye health for the both of us. Thank you Dr Roth. We look forward to working with you to ensure we have the best vision care.

My 2nd visit with Dr. Viveros was again, excellent. The technician performed the testing, she was great. My new readers and distance glasses came in and Dr.Viveros had them on her desk. I have had an extensive problem with double vision since Aug 2024. Dr. Viveros was the FIRST eye Dr. out of 5 previous specialists to hear me out, and prescribed prisms for me. To be able to read off the Snellen eye chart for the first time was overwhelming for me emotionally. The drive home was amazing because for 8 months being in the passenger seat with my head down or reclined back bc my eyes could not tolerate moving objects… I was able to read the signs on the highway and keep my eyes straight ahead. Dr. Viveros has given me HOPE to be able to work as an RN again. I am going to try and drive around my neighborhood this weekend, starting out slow, knowing my eyes and brain are still adjusting to my prisms. Again, I highly recommend Dr. Viveros and her staff.

Excellent care, excellent experience with everyone in the office. I’m grateful to have been directed to Dr. Viveros by my regular optometrist for a vision issue that was curiously not resolving with a change of prescription. I came to Family Eye Care weekly for vision therapy for around a year. Each of the therapists is super kind, helpful, and enjoyable to see each week. I looked forward to my visits and appreciated learning about the field through conversation and first-hand experience. Dr. Viveros is patient, listens well, and is passionate about the medical field and the care she provides. The therapy I received resolved my issue in a sustainable and empowering manner. Even as an adult, it had been challenging to find the words to describe the problem and to know how to persist in pursuing treatment (prior to Family Eye Care). I feel much more empowered and attuned to my eyesight now. My particular therapy program was not covered by insurance, so it felt like a risk. However, due to the level of frustration I had with my eyesight, I took the chance. It was 100% worth the time commitment and expense because of the resolve in my day to day life. The office provided both a payment plan option AND an option to pay in full at a discounted rate. Additionally, one thing I learned that I will take with me is that children may present with learning difficulties that are actually a manifestation of vision issues (beyond just what warrants traditional corrective lenses). I highly recommend Family Eye Care for both routine and specialized care.
